Kverneland chooses Yaskawa welding robot again
Since 2015, a Yaskawa welding robot application has been in operation at agricultural equipment manufacturer Kverneland in Nieuw Vennep. This year a second installation was added: an AR2010 welding robot on a 5 meter long track.
Lately, Kverneland has been getting a lot more work, creating the need for more capacity. The company had also brought back work from abroad, mainly from Poland and Hungary, to the Netherlands. In these circumstances it was decided to purchase a second welding robot.

Preference for Yaskawa
"I just really like Yaskawa," said B. Behari, Group Leader at the Kverneland Group. Other robot brands were also looked at. "It was my preference to go for Yaskawa again and that was the deciding factor." According to Behari, the good relationship with account manager Kor Blijenberg and the excellent service were the reasons for choosing Yaskawa again.
The good service was mentioned several times as an essential factor in the choice. "No good service, then I am not interested in any of the companies out there," says Behari.
Manual welders are also employed in Nieuw Vennep, but the welding on most products is done by the two robots. The new welding robot is already in full production and many different smaller parts are being welded on it; larger workpieces go to the first welding robot with its 15 meter long track.

Continued investment in automation is one of the company's main priorities.
